A journey shaped through long-term care and opportunity
There was a time when Naba thought her education had come to an end. Difficult financial circumstances forced her to leave school early, leaving many of her ambitions uncertain.
But Naba refused to let hardship define her future.
“I enrolled in a pastry course at Al-Ayn’s Luminous Stars Centre, where I learned baking and dessert-making skills. As I continued developing my experience, I was offered a job at the very centre where I trained.
Now, God-willing, I hope to take the next step and open my own pastry shop.”
Through long-term support and opportunity, orphaned children like Naba can continue rebuilding their future with confidence and independence.
Supporting a child through hardship and healing
At just 9 years old, Abdul Rauf has already faced more than most children ever should. After losing his father at a young age, he was later diagnosed with kidney failure – placing even greater pressure on his family’s difficult circumstances.
Yet despite everything, he remains full of life. Abdul Rauf loves football, drawing, and spending time with his brothers. He dreams of one day becoming a firefighter, helping others like the heroes he admires.
Today, through ongoing support, Abdul Rauf and his family receive the care they need – helping him access vital medical support, continue his education, and move forward with hope for the future.
From uncertainty to stability through long-term support
Just a few years ago, Samira and her two sisters faced an uncertain future after losing their father. Their mother worked tirelessly to provide for her children, often struggling to meet even their most basic needs.
Everything began to change when the family registered with Al-Ayn in 2021. Through ongoing support, Samira and her sisters were able to access essential support, and regain greater stability at home.
Today, Samira can look towards the future with greater confidence, reflecting the long-term impact sponsorship can have for orphaned children and their families.
